Room for Rent in Arizona

Buck Miller sent us the following:

Howdy

I've got a bit of room in the house I'm staying at here in Tucson, Az. I've been coming here to train every winter since 2002, good roads, great group rides, perfect weather. These rooms just became available as a few people that had asked me to stay here (months ago) for this winter backed out.

The house - big yard, pool, TV/satellite, wireless......and 4 dogs. They're all nice dogs, but it can get a little hairy. The renter's room's and bathroom are closed off to dogs via baby gate. The rest of the house is shared. The owner is a single middle aged school teacher with no kids. She and her dogs live here. I'd rather see a room go to a bike racer over some other Joe Schmoe, so I offered to help her find someone. I mean, there's gotta be a few Van/Vic riders out there tired of getting rained on everyday!

Right now, there's one room with a single bed, desk, dresser, closet and one window. It's small but perfect for a short term renter $400/mo.

As of January 26th a 2nd larger room will be available with a double bed, double futon, large desk, closet, 2 windows, and one ghetto dresser. 2 people can stay in this room comfortably. $350/mo ('cuz you have to share). $500/mo for the whole room to yourself.

The house is located (perfectly) at Silverbell/Speedway (bottom of Gates Pass). 8 minutes walking to a plaza with everything from autoparts to imported cheese. 15 minute ride to the U of A where most of the group rides leave and all the girls/guys/coffee shops and great Mexican are.

Prices are fair and firm, can only be adjusted for a shorter stay. Prices also include everything (no splitting bills). It's a first come first serve basis. I have nothing to do with the prices, I'm just the messenger/contact. If interested e-mail me at bucker@7thgroove.com. #in Tuc 520 903 1436.
