Peter Tyler, a former board member of the Ontario Cycling Association, passed away on Saturday May 31.

Peter was involved in the sport of cycling for many years. A former racer from the UK, Peter devoted his entire life to his number one passion ˆ cycling.

Peter was a founding member of the Ottawa Bicycle Club, past-president of the Canadian Cycling Association, UCI Commissaire and organizer of numerous local cycling events, most recently through Bikerace Ottawa. He owned the Beckwith Bicycle store in Carleton Place and was very active with the Almonte Cycling Club. He recently served two terms as Club Liaison representative for the Ontario Cycling Association.

A gathering will be held on Monday, June 9 at 4:00 pm at the St. Anthony's Soccer Club, 523 St. Anthony St, Ottawa K1R 6Z9 .
