April 19/09 20:01 pm - Tour of the Battenkill: 3 Canadians in top 10

Another day of racing for Planet Energy team in NY State, the Tour of the Battenkill, a 200km course (2 circuits of 100km) with paved and unpaved roadways.

Planet Energy's François Parisien finished 3rd with Karl Menzies of OUCH 2nd behind solo rider Scott Nydam of BMC in 1st position.

Nydam led an early break with another rider, then escaped to finish the final lap solo. Frank escaped from the peloton and was alone behind Nydam at 50sec (2min into the 2nd lap).  Menzies bridged to Frank into the last 10-20km to go.
