April 17/10 16:55 pm - Ross Knight receives Syl Apps Special Achievement Award

On Thursday April 15th at the Atlantis Pavilion, Ontario Place, Toronto, the 2009 Ontario Sport Awards were announced.

Ross Knight was awarded a Syl Apps Special Achievement Award.  The award is presented annually by the Province of Ontario to Ontario volunteers who have contributed to the development of sport in the province.

Ross has been a rider, coach, mentor, race organizer and fixture on the Ontario cycling scene for more years than I care to remember.   Ross and his company Seenite Sports run a weekly criterium series in Ottawa.
