THE FOURTH ANNUAL PAUL'S DIRTY ENDURO MOUNTAIN BIKE RACE

On Sunday September 26th Ganaraska Off Road Productions (GORP) in association with the Canadian Mental Health Association will be staging the Fourth Annual Paul's Dirty Enduro mountain bike race. Billed as Southern Ontario's toughest mountain bike race Paul's Dirty Enduro offers participants the choice of a 15, 30, 60 or 100 kilometer course. To make this event even more challenging the people at GORP have designed each course as a single lap with over eighty percent of the course being single track.

The race is being staged in the village of Garden Hill with staggered start times throughout the day. The 100 km riders start at 8:00 am, 60 km riders at 11:00am and the 30 and 15km riders will head off at 1:00pm. After a brief sprint along County Rd. 9 the riders head north into the Ganaraska Forest to test themselves on some of the toughest trails in southern Ontario. Many of the 100-kilometer riders are expected to have finishing times of over seven hours.

This annual event is a tribute to Paul Rush (1961-1996) a friend and avid mountain biker who, sadly, took his own life. All proceeds from Paul's Dirty Enduro are donated to the Canadian Mental Health Association in Paul's memory.
