Ontario Track Championships this weekend

The Forest City Velodrome in London is please to announce that the Ontario Track Championships will be held in London Ontario this weekend (October 16-16). Friday night is for training and registration. The FCV will be open from 4pm - 8:30pm.

Riders are encouraged to pre-register on the OCA site before Thursday (October 14th) so that seeding can be done for the first event of the Omnium. Categories include Youth racers, Cadet/Junior, Elite and Masters. Categories may be combined depending on entries.

The 6 event Omnium will begin at 9:30am Saturday October 16th. All 6 events are scheduled to be completed in 1 day. Sprint and Keirin competitions will be on Sunday Oct 17th.

Volunteers are required for Saturday and Sunday, if you are available please contact ForestCityVelodrome@live.com .

Juniors will have to use spoked wheels for all events. (no carbon disc wheels will be allowed).

Spectators are welcome, the evening session on Saturday night will have Points and Scratch races plus the final event of the Omnium the Elimination race.

Come and watch the top track racers in Ontario compete for the Ontario Championship.
