To the owners of 2011 Opus Scherzos, Andantes, Alegrias, Altos


It is possible that a limited number of forks from one of our production runs may not have had their steerer tubes hardened to our specifications. A fork that has not been properly hardened may cause the steerer tube to bend under normal use.

While we have received no reports to date of any fork failures, it is essential that every fork from each of these Opus models be returned to us for inspection and that they not be ridden until this takes place.

Please contact your nearest authorized Opus retailer to arrange to have your fork returned to us for inspection. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you have any questions or concerns, please call our service department at 800-363-0693.
