August 11/11 20:34 pm - Wine Country Criterium Update

On Friday, August 19th the first Rideokanagan.com pb Norco "Wine Country Criterium" p/b Haymansports will roll out on the streets of downtown Penticton.

The Wine Country Crit will take place on a fast, flat 1km course along Lake Okanagan, through downtown Penticton, starting and finishing right on Main Street.

The first race is category "B" will take to the course at 6 pm for 30 mins plus 2 laps. Category "A" will start at 6:45 pm and race for 45 minutes plus 2 laps, and .  Prize money will be awarded for the top 3 in each category, plus primes and draw prizes. Streets close at 5:30 with day of race sign on at Gyro Park (beside Penticton city hall) starting at 4:00 pm.

Unlicensed riders with past racing experience may take out a one day competitor license.
