Canada's premier gran fondo cycling event, the RBC GranFondo Whistler, gives participants one of the most unique cycling experiences in North America - 122 kilometres in a dedicated lane from downtown Vancouver to Whistler. Riders will experience breathtaking views of Howe Sound, challenging climbs through the Coast Mountain Range and a rewarding post-event festival celebration in Whistler. The course is fully supported with aid stations stocked with fruits and vegetables, nutritional supplements, water and energy drink, medical and mechanical assistance and toilets.

The 2012 RBC GranFondo Whistler will take place September 8th. Two distance options are offered:  the full 122 kilometre GranFondo which starts in Vancouver and the 55 kilometre Medio, which will start in Canada’s Outdoor Recreation Capital of Squamish. Both events finish in the world renowned Resort Municipality of Whistler.
