Trek Bicycle has partnered with Whistler-based Summer Gravity Camps to bring world-class mountain bike coaching to the next generation of shredders. Founded over a decade ago by longtime Trek athlete and freeride pioneer Andrew Shandro, SGC brings the world’s best freeriders together to coach groms from around the globe at the best bike park on the planet: Whistler-Blackcomb. And thanks to the partnership with Trek, camp attendees can now do it all on the best bikes on dirt.

As part of Trek’s partnership, camp attendees will have access to the World Cup-dominating Trek carbon Session 9.9 and the all-new Trek Slash 9 all-mountain bike to use during their time at the camp. Campers can also take advantage of instruction from Trek C3 Project superstars Brandon Semenuk, winner of the 2011 Red Bull Joyride at Crankworx Whistler, and Cam McCaul, winner of the 2011 Crankworx Colorado slopestyle as well as Trek C3 godfather and SGC founder Andrew Shandro. Whistler local and featured rider in Anthill Productions’ upcoming Strength in Numbers, Adam Billinghurst rounds out the roster of talented coaches.

Beyond the access to pro riders and pro-level equipment, SGC attendees also get unparalleled access to some of mountain biking’s most hallowed ground, Whistler Bike Park. With lift line priority to maximize ride time, SGC-exclusive Air Dome access, and coaches who know every inch of the mountain it’s enough to make you yearn for your youth.
