June 19/12 11:40 am - Ryder to get Olympic Nod?

We are going out on a bit of a limb here, but are predicting Ryder Hesjedal will be Canada's selection for the Men's Olympic Road and Time Trial.  This is based on the fact that the formal announcement will take place on Thursday DURING the men's time Trial at Road Nationals in Lac Megantic.  Normally they would have athletes available to speak to the media, which will be difficult if Svein Tuft is racing the Time Trial.  We will have to wait until Thursday to know for sure, but that is the way it looks here at CC.
