The opening round of the 2015-16 Track World Cup took place this past weekend in Cali, Colombia. It is an especially important season, since results count towards Olympic qualification for Rio next year, and every country stepping up its participation. Team Canada started the three days with their best result ever in the Team Pursuit for women; winning ahead of the United States and Great Britain, and taking the World Cup leader's jersey.
