Sea Otter Classic - Women's Short Track
Alison Sydor led the riders through a very fast start for the first 2 laps at todays MTB Short track. After which Alison Dunlap moved to the front and together with Caroline Alexander and Barb Blatter led for the remainder of the race. Alison Sydor was happy with her start, but says she now needs to work on her intensity.
Barb Blatter felt that the race was somewhat slow (for her liking). She and Caroline (Alexander) were 1, 2 as the finish line approached and decided that since Blatter was a better descender(the finish was a t the bottom of a hill) that Blatter should go first and thus took the win.
