Today is International Women's Day, so we thought it appropriate to give a shout out to some (but certainly not all) of the women in Canadian cycling.

Throughout the day we will posting intros to some of our amazing Canadian women of cycling.

Kate O'Brien - Kate was sixth in the 2016 Olympics and a Pan Am Games champion. After suffering a life-threatening injury in a training crash, she came back to competition as a para-cyclist, winning Paralympic silver, a world title and setting a world record.
