The Junior men are on lap 5 of their 10 lap, 121 kilometre road race. There was a big crash towards the end of the first lap with a lot of riders going down. All Canadians appear to be fine. On the third lap a group of 6 broke free from the peloton - Matti Brechell (Den), Bartosz Kolendo (Pol), Mathieu Claude (Fra), Luis Leon Sanchez Gil (Esp), Norbert Poels (Ned) and Stanislav Belov (Rus). the gap is now up to over a minute and a half, but the Germans and Ukrainians are chasing hard.
