Despite the stormy weather earlier in the day the skies cleared up in time for the field of fifteen starters (including 9 women) to take the line. The Midweek club was pleased to welcome many newcomers to the series this week. The riders were given the opportunity to practice several laps on the course with the field before the actual racing
started. Thanks to Peter McCaffery and Steve Hamilton from Madonna Wheelers for helping with registration, setting up the course and running the race.
