Results from the Prairie Steamer, a road omnium event held in and around Calgary on May 31st, June 1st.

This year's event featured a rolling road race, in addition to time trials on the track (500m and kilo) and on the paved road at Canada Olympic Park.

Bow Cycle joins the Olympic Oval team as 'preferred bicycle retailer" of the National Cycling Centre in Calgary

Calgary's Olympic Oval is pleased to announce a new two-year partnership with Bow Cycle. As the preferred bicycle retailer of the National Cycling Centre- Calgary, Bow Cycle will provide Oval athletes with valuable support and service.

Founded in 1995, the National Cycling Centre - Calgary established itself at the Olympic Oval in 1997. Providing a motivated training environment for cyclists year round, achievement oriented cyclists are drawn to the Cycling Centre to take advantage of such features as proven training protocols, enthusiastic training groups, and world class coaching.

The Olympic Oval National Cycling Centre - Calgary currently employs 6 cycling specific coaches on a year round basis. Our athlete group structure, as well as our coaching structure is very team oriented. All our coaches are well versed in all cycling events/disciplines, offering Oval Program athletes the most complete training and competitive environment possible.
