The National Cycling Centre - Atlantic Canada extends an invite to its first cyclo-cross camp that will be held on October 4th and 5th at the St-Anselme Park in Dieppe. Five time national champion, Peter Wedge will be on site to share his expertise.

Saturday will be reserved for introduction and training while on Sunday, we will hold a race. You may now register on-line. Registration cost is $35 and includes the camp, lodging at the Scout lodge as well as race registration. This camp is part of the Mike‚s Bike Shop Cycling School program and is opened to 16 years and older.


Le Centre national de développement cyclisme - Canada atlantique vous invite à son premier camp de cyclo-cross qui aura lieu les 4 et 5 octobre prochain au parc St-Anselme de Dieppe. Le quintuple champion canadien, Peter Wedge, sera sur place afin de partager son expertise.

Pour ce faire, le samedi sera réservé à l'introduction et à l'entraînement. Le dimanche, quant à lui, sera réservé pour une course. Vous pouvez vous inscrire en-ligne dès maintenant. Le coût d'inscription est de 35$ pour la fin de semaine au complet. Ceci inclut le logement au Chalet Scout, le camp et la course. Ce camp fait partie du programme Ecole cycliste Mike’s Bike Shop et est ouvert aux 16 ans et plus.


Tour of Milton

Dear Cycling Community,

Once again this September, the annual Tour of Milton will take place in memory of Jack Wierzbicki.

Jack was killed by a hit and run driver while out on his road bike on Tremaine Road, on August 14, 2001.

The ride will take place on Sunday, September 28, starting at 10:00 am. Registration will begin at 8:30 am. at the Milton GO station at Main St. and Thompson Rd in Milton. The registration fee is $10.00. Proceeds from the ride will be donated to the Share the Road campaign to promote safety for cyclists.

Last year over 300 road cyclists participated in this event.
