This year, we introduced a new category of voting in the CC Awards - the best bike shops across Canada, as chosen by you. The process was simple: submit the name of your favourite bike shop, including Town, Province and reasons why this shop is your favourite.

The response was tremendous, with over 1000 votes cast in just over a week. We had votes from every province, plus the Yukon Territory. We have now gone through all the votes and broken them down by region to determine the Canadian Cyclist Bike Shops of the Year.

We have 12 shops from across Canada that have clearly developed a strong loyalty among their customers. Two things shone through for all of the top ranked stores: Customer service and passion for cycling. Congratulations to all our winners.

Each will be receiving a certificate from us, identifying their status as one of the top shops in the country. Two regions did not have any shops with enough votes to distinguish themselves from others: Montreal and the Prairies.
